We are newbies to this type of Chinese restaurant so we didn’t know what to expect but we really enjoyed the two dishes we ordered. Both tasted excellent and I could recommend this place to even those that aren’t too familiar with Szechuan dishes. Servers didn’t really speak English too well but enough to communicate. Parkings are really tough in this neighborhood though. Just find a place via street in the neighborhood.

This is a truly authentic Taiwanese restaurant with great flavors and polite staff. I ordered some bold, flavorful dishes, and ended up finishing all the rice! Left with a full belly and a happy heart. I'll definitely come back to try other dishes next time!

Extremely authentic Taiwanese foods they served here! The three cup chicken and braised pork dishes are my personal favourite as the meats are flavourful and succulent. In addition, the cooked luffa with clams is another signature dish as it’s very appetizing and refreshing; a perfect dish for the summer. Last, the staffs are super friendly as well. Great place to dine for sure.

I've been wanting to go to this restaurant for quite some time as I heard a lot of good comments from my friends. It's a Saturday night and the restaurant was so busy that no seats were available without booking. We ordered 6 dishes to share among the 6 of us. The portion was not crazy big but good enough to get us home with full and satisfied tummies (4 men & 2 women). 1. Spicy pork blood and intestines stew - this is my favorite dish. Intestines were very tender and pork blood were soft and smooth. The medium spicy sauce made me finish a bowl of rice in no time. 2. Three Cup Chicken - one of the most favorite Taiwanese dishes. Chicken was cooked with one cup of soy sauce, sugar and cooking wine each. Unlike most other restaurants, this dish is neither too sweet or salty. The flavor is delicately balanced that one could keep eating without feeling greasy. 3. Shrimps in salty egg sauce - I like the twist that the chef put into this dish. The Cantonese has have this dish, but the Taiwanese style has put in some deep fried garlic and chili, making this dish even more enticing to the palate. 4. Fried fish meat with chives - pretty good but not particularly special The fish is fresh and the chives are aromatic. 5. Pork belly in brown sauce - the success of this dish lies on the choice of meat. It has to have several layers of fat and meat. This dish was fairly well cooked, and the sweetness of the sauce is on the dot. I just wish the meat has a little bit more fat in it coz the size piece was a bit dry. 6. Sakura shrimps fried rice - simple but good! The rice was very well fried so you could see each and every grain of rice. The sakura shrimps adds saltiness and aroma to the rice. Delicious! There are so many other dishes I want to try. Will definitely visit again. I'm sure this restaurant has more to offer.

Being there for so many times, definitely one of the best and authentic Taiwanese restaurants u can get in Vancouver. The service is always so good, and all dishes are unique and made with strong wok flavour. very addicting as well, be aware to get hooked on going back there over and over. They have really good value to lunch combo too. Highly recommend it. Oh yeah, and have to call to make reservation as the restaurant is quite small.
